Disney World is just 10 minutes’ drive from here, with SeaWorld and Discovery Cove 15-20 minutes away, Orlando's newest theme park - Epic Universe with Super Nintendo World in 25-30 minutes and Universal, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a 25-30 minute car journey along the nearby I-4 Highway. The popular US192 is just a mile or so away from here and offers an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants and fast-food options catering for all tastes and budgets.
The open-plan living accommodation is designed so that everybody can relax in their own space and yet still enjoy quality family time together. The kitchen, equipped with everything you might need should you choose to cook lunch or dinner or prepare packed lunches, is centrally placed with an archway through to the dining area where you will find a table large enough for everybody to gather round and enjoy dinner together or an evening of playing board games. The lounge has a large corner sofa positioned in front of a flatscreen TV and doors leading to the balcony.
The Main bedroom is situated off the lounge and has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom, Bedroom 2 is down a small corridor and has a Queen-size bed. Bedroom 3 is close by and has a Day bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with a door opening out to the hallway. Each bedroom has a flatscreen TV so everybody gets to choose which programme they watch as they drift off to sleep.
Windsor Palms has some of the best resort facilities in the Kissimmee area and these are at the clubhouse, just 4 minutes stroll from here. Amenities include a comfortable lounge area, a state-of-the-art gym, sundries shop, a video games room for kids of all ages, pool and table tennis tables and even a 58-seat cinema, showing popular and recent family friendly movies every day. Outside is an Olympic-size heated swimming pool, a separate spa, kiddie’s splash pool and lots of sun loungers. A family picnic and BBQ area will give you chance to meet up with other guests staying at the resort, as will the Tiki bar. More energetic holiday-makers can sign up for a game of volleyball, basketball or tennis on one of the resort’s floodlit sports courts.
The balcony, a great place to come back to each evening to relax, is accessed through doors in the lounge. It has views across the tennis courts below and is completely screened so you won’t be pestered with bugs as you enjoy a cold drink at the end of a busy day.
