Overview

Universal’s Epic Universe boasts 750 acres of space that will host 4 incredible realms for you and your family to explore: Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

As you first enter the park, you will find yourself in Celestial Park, a central hub that connects the 4 realms together via magical portals. These portals separate each area, making each section of the park a unique experience to be explored fully. You might find yourself spending the entire day in just one section! However, Celestial Park is not just a connecting corridor between these realms, it is an attraction itself and offers its very own exhilarating rides. Start by taking a turn on the Constellation Carousel, riding celestial creatures that include lions, dragons and peacocks that turn 360 degrees and rise 6 feet into the air. Discover ultimate thrills on Stardust Racers, a rollercoaster that features 2 intertwining tracks known as the ‘Celestial Spin’. If you are already worn out from the excitement, take a break at Astronomica, a cooling interactive water play area, before you grab yourself a variety of food from one of the many available dining options such as The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant or Comet Dogs.

Pass through one of the portals to enter the terrifying Dark Universe, where classic movie monsters come to life in the creepy village of Darkmoor. Experience thrills and chills as you brave Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. Enter Frankenstein Manor, where you will meet Dr Victoria Frankenstein and come face to face with classic creatures such as The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Dracula and many more. Seeking more adrenaline pumping adventure? Then board a wagon and plunge through a creepy forest as you attempt to escape The Wolf Man on Curse of the Werewolf, Darkmoor’s terrifying roller coaster. Want to join in the fun of scaring other visitors? Then become a monster yourself at the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience. Here, professional and awarding winning makeup artisans will transform you and your family into your very own terrifying monster. After plenty of scares, head to Das Stakehaus to satisfy your ravenous hunger or visit Pretorius’ Scientific Oddities to pick yourself up a souvenir.

The next portal will take you to a world of dragons and Vikings in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Here you can fly alongside both Hiccup and Toothless on; Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, an exciting ride that lets you experience how it is to fly a dragon. Next, join Ruffnut and Tuffnut as you get soaking wet on Fyre Drill, a family friendly boat ride where you can use water cannons to take aim at flame-like targets or even other park-goers on other boats! Dragon Racers Rally raises you high into the sky as you have a go at everyone’s favourite pastime, dragon racing! Tailor your ride from ‘Mild’ to ‘Wild’ as you swoop and soar through the air, going as high as 67 feet on this breathtaking ride! The Viking Training Camp offers an interactive play area for younger visitors, with towers to climb, slides, Viking drums and even a sheep launcher!
Blending actors, technology and music, The Untrainable Dragon live show is a must-see experience for everyone, especially when Toothless soars over the audience’s head, with an impressive wingspan of 27 feet! Afterwards, head to The Haddock Paddock, where you will have the chance to meet both Hiccup and Toothless in person, a meet and greet that is accessible to all!
Eat like a real Viking when you visit Spit Fyre Grill or pick up a range of sweet treats at the How to Treat Your Dragon confectionary shop!

Aspiring wizards will want to hurry to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic. Start by visiting Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique to get yourself your very own magic wand. This wand will allow you to interact with a number of locations throughout the park, letting you practice popular magic spells or bring fantastical creatures to life.
Join Harry, Hermione and Ron in the must-have experience, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, where you will follow the trial of Dolores Umbridge. Soar in all directions as you evade Death Eaters and magical creatures, all while passing through a number of locations in this immersive and exciting ride. Make sure to catch Le Cirque Arcanus, a live stage show that will excite the whole family. Set inside a big top tent, be astounded as you watch performers, aerialists, puppeteers and witness incredible special effects that will dazzle and amaze. It also would not be a true Harry Potter experience without getting yourself a Butterbeer from the Bièraubeurre Cart!

Finally, travel through a warp pipe to enter the vibrant and colourful SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. Start by getting yourself a Power-Up Band, so you can make full use of the park’s interactivity and keep track of your and your families score on leaderboards throughout the park. Collect enough virtual ‘keys’ from these interactions and you can take part in Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown. Jump, duck and swat as you battle Bowser Jr to reclaim the Golden Mushroom in this virtual reality interactive event. Next, join Donkey Kong as you ride a runaway cart on Mine-Cart Madness, passing through the jungle and making seemingly impossible leaps across gaps in the track.
Yoshi’s Adventure is a leisurely ride that is suitable for younger guests, as you ride the back of Yoshi on a quest to find several glowing eggs throughout the Mushroom Kingdom.
The popular racing game Mario Kart becomes real-life as you embark on Mario Kart: Bowsers Challenge. This exhilarating ride blends physical sets, video projection and augmented-realty goggles, creating a unique and immersive experience. Become truly immersed in the race as you collect coins and launch shells as you compete on your own or as a team!
Don’t forget to grab yourself your very own red Mario cap from the 1-UP Factory or get a tasty treat from Toadstool Café. As you walk around, make sure you keep an eye out for the plumber brothers Mario and Luigi so you can get a photo with them!
