ChampionsGate

This luxury Orlando resort includes two 18-hole championship golf courses and plenty of amenities for the whole family including a movie theatre, restaurant, swimming pools with a lazy river and water slides, a swim-up bar and sports courts. Disney theme parks are just 20 minutes from the community too.

Set beautifully within Florida’s natural landscape, each golf course is uniquely different and has been designed by Australian golfer Greg Norman. ChampionsGate is known to be Orlando’s best golf outing and tournament venue.

Highlands Reserve

Stay on this picturesque golfing community in Davenport. This established resort is situated on the US27, just a few miles from Disney. If you have a golf fan in your group they will be over the moon with the award-winning golf course set right in the heart of this beautiful community. Guests staying here can also make use of the other fantastic facilities including a community swimming pool, tennis court and children’s play area with swings, slides and climbing frames.

Highlands Reserve is not your typical Florida golf course. It’s affordable, walkable and fun for all levels of golfers. The course features spacious, open fairways that are similar to those of classic Scottish courses, with numerous bunkers placed throughout the course for even more of a challenge.

Golf tip - If you’re looking for a good deal, check out the prices in the early afternoon for the winter season, but remember it gets dark early. In the summer, mid afternoon tee times are usually cheaper, but watch out for the intense heat and Florida’s famous thunderstorms. 

Reunion

Reunion resort is the only destination in the world to boast signature golf courses designed by each of the golfing legends Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson. Each course combines natural landscaping with unique and challenging layouts. These courses have won numerous awards over the years.

The community also has an abundance of facilities, including 11 swimming pools, 6 restaurants, sports courts, a health spa and more. Reunion is in a superb location, as it’s just 3 miles south of the I-4, so you can to the Disney theme parks within a 10 minute drive. Universal Studios and SeaWorld are all just 20 minutes in the car.

A beautiful, modern five bedroom villa, with a relaxing private pool. It’s a great choice for all the family and offers plenty of space with three King-size bedrooms and the other two bedrooms both have two double beds.

Southern Dunes

This peaceful, gated community has become well-known for its tough and challenging golf course that is fun to play time and time again. Situated on the US27, Southern Dunes has a great golf course, community pool, gym and tennis courts. It also has an excellent clubhouse available for all guests to use.

Southern Dunes golf course has fast, undulating greens with more that 150 bunkers of varying shapes and sizes. There are various other hazards of shrubs, and trees, but little water. It is a good idea to book early because this course is very popular with tourists and residents alike.

“We holiday in Florida every year and always stay at Southern Dunes. Over the course of a 2 week stay I will play 5 or 6 times. I love the opportunity and challenges this course provides. It’s a fantastic course with wide fairways and large greens. Many times I start with the same ball and finish with the same ball. With 5 sets of tees any player from a beginner to a touring pro can enjoy it.”
