A lake view certainly adds a little something extra to your stay, and can make your holiday feel a lot more peaceful. You are bound to want to spend more time in the Florida sunshine and dining alfresco in the evenings, watching the sun go down over the lake.

There are more than 30,000 lakes in Florida, and many of these attract a variety of fascinating creatures. So, not only will you be able to soak-up the sun on your pool deck, but it’s the perfect place to look out over the lake and spot some of the local wildlife, including cranes, frogs and lizards. You might also encounter an alligator lazing in or around the lake, but there’s no need to be alarmed! The chances of seeing one on your holiday are very slim! Solterra 5 bed

Just fifteen minutes from the Disney area is this fantastic villa with a south-facing pool deck, modern interior and fully-equipped games room. It’s got everything you will need for your stay in Florida!

• Pool deck - The south-facing pool deck, with views of a lake and conservation to the rear of the property, has a pool and spa, a covered, outdoor dining table with seating for eight people and plenty of patio space to relax in the Florida sun.

• Living accommodation - Just inside the front door is a modern, formal dining area with seating for ten people. Continuing through the villa is the fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, with a breakfast bar seating four people. Adjacent to the kitchen is the stylish family lounge with a sofa, loveseat and an armchair, patio doors to the pool deck and a flatscreen TV. You’ll find an additional family lounge upstairs with an L-shaped sofa and armchair, along with a cinema-style screen and projector.

• Bedrooms - The Master bedroom is to the left of the kitchen and has a King-size bed. It also includes an en-suite bathroom and a door onto the pool deck. Bedroom 2 is to the right of the upstairs landing and has a King-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 3 is to the left of the landing and has a Queen-size bed. • Solterra community - Situated on the Ronald Reagan Parkway, just a few minutes from the I-4, is the new resort-style development of Solterra. The community has plenty of facilities for all ages to enjoy and ChampionsGate village is less than three miles away with a supermarket and choice of restaurants.

Hampton Lakes 6 bed

This fabulous six bedroom villa with a direct lake view and south-facing pool deck is a perfect base for your family holiday. Inside this spacious property you’ll find an open-plan living area, a great games room and some beautifully-decorated bedrooms.

• Pool deck - The large south-facing pool deck with lake and fountain views, has a private pool and spa, loungers for those who want to relax in the Florida sun as well as tables and chairs to enjoy alfresco dining.

• Living accommodation - Upon entering this villa you will find the formal dining area on your left. Next to the dining area is the open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar. At the back of the villa, with doors onto the pool deck and its lovely views over the lake, is the family lounge with plenty of seating and a large TV.

• Bedrooms - The Master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 also on the ground floor has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom. • Hampton Lakes community - This villa is on the beautiful community of Hampton Lakes with its tropical well-maintained gardens. There are communal facilities to suit all ages here, including a children’s play area and sports courts. Sitting on the US27, shops, restaurants and golf courses are all within a short drive and the Disney theme parks are just 20 minutes drive away.

Storey Lake 6 bed

• Living accommodation - The villa benefits from two lounge areas. The first is found downstairs and is open-plan alongside the kitchen and dining room. It has some great facilities and is set in an ideal location, with the Disney theme parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, Old Town Kissimmee, the Premium Vineland Outlets and Gatorland all within a short drive!
