Best Places to Play Mini-Golf in Orlando

Mini golf course

Orlando may be the first choice for everyone who loves theme parks, but did you know it’s also enormously popular with golf fanatics? Florida has around 1250 golf courses, more than any other American state, most of which are available to the public. But also there are many crazy golf courses for the more casual player in Orlando, that are all within driving distance from holiday homes operated by Debbie’s Villas. For those wanting a break from the busy theme parks, we have compiled this list of Florida’s most-popular courses for you to put your putting skills to the test on!

Disney Miniature Golf Courses

Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course

If you have bought park tickets from Debbie’s Villas which include the Disney attractions, you’ll be pleased to know you can enjoy a round at either of its adventure golf courses once per day, providing you tee-off before 4pm. There is also free parking! You can choose from:

Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course: Located near Disney’s Swan Hotel, this attraction is split into two separate courses, the first being an elaborate ‘crazy golf’ course called Fantasia Gardens. Cunningly-styled with the characters from Fantasia to provide you with the type of obstacles you’d expect from a crazy golf course in the UK, but with a massive helping of Disney magic! Here you’ll find ramps, banks and holes hidden amongst the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Yen Sid – the old magician, Bacchus, the ballet dancing alligator and hippo, the dancing mushrooms and fauns who all provide a fun and challenging 18 holes! More experienced golfers should opt for the Fairways course. This is more like a proper 18-hole golf course, shrunk down to mini size! The holes here vary from par 3 all the way up to a par 5 (par for the course is 72), with water hazards, rough terrain and sand traps giving you plenty to navigate on your way. US Masters winner Bubba Watson has played here, he achieved 22 under par, can you beat the professional?

Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course: Found near the Blizzard Beach water park, this golf course is also split into two ‘greens’. Christmas is the theme of the first course which is filled with festive songs, snow-topped chalets, ice palaces, candy canes, decorated Christmas trees, igloos, fireplaces and of course – Santa himself! Father Christmas is then on holiday in the Summer-themed course, which is essentially a mirror-image of the Christmas course! Putt yourself around sandcastles, lifesavers, thawing snow, caravans and barbecued turkey on your way through the 18 holes.
