New Florida Attractions for 2020!

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along - Disney’s Epcot

Now open!

Situated in a cosy French cinema in the France pavilion of Epcot, guests will be able to sing their hearts out at the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along attraction. This 15-minute film premiered recently on 17th January. It is narrated by Mrs Potts herself - Angela Lansbury, as well as being directed and produced by Don Hahn, producer of the Beauty and the Beast films. It’s a tale to not miss out on whilst at the Disney park.

This new Beauty and the Beast film runs in rotation with Impressions de France, which has also received an upgrade to 4K projection.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Opening 4th March 2020

This brand-new attraction, which is unique to Disney World, will take guests on a zany adventure through Mickey and Minnie’s cartoon universe. Prepare for unexpected twists, Disney humour and mind-boggling transformations at every turn, as this well-loved duo try to save the day. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is set to open on 4th March and is aimed at Mickey and Minnie fans of all ages!

Fun Fact - Keep your eyes peeled for ‘hidden Mickey’s’ on this ride, as there are more here than any other Disney attraction or area in the world.

Ice Breaker - SeaWorld

Opening in Spring 2020

Take a ride on SeaWorld’s first launch coaster! Due to open in the spring of this year, Ice Breaker will include four airtime filled launches, both backwards and forwards, as well as a reverse launch into the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida - a 93ft tall spike with 100-degree angle! Named after the icy Arctic summits, guests will find this new roller coaster near the Wild Arctic attraction currently at the park. SeaWorld have also announced a new partnership with the Alaska SeaLife Center, which is dedicated to marine research, education and wildlife response, to help educate riders about the arctic and its inhabitants.

The Bourne Stuntacular - Universal Studios

Opening in Spring 2020

Watch in amazement at an all-new live-action stunt show, based on the blockbuster Bourne film franchise. The Bourne Stuntacular will follow hero Jason Bourne across three continents, as menacing characters go after him. Feel the action as you get caught up in the thrilling chase scenes, punishing fistfights, death-defying leaps and danger at every turn! Brace yourself for this exciting new show coming to Universal Studios Florida in spring 2020.

Iron Gwazi - Busch Gardens

Opening in Spring 2020

Iron Gwazi will be North America’s tallest and the world’s fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world! It will certainly take excitement to new heights, as riders will experience a dozen airtime moments and crocodile-inspired thrills. Built from wood and steel, the roller coaster will feature a maximum height of more than 200ft tall, with a 91-degree drop and will reach a top speed of 76mph. Restored elements of the previous Gwazi coaster will also be a part of the ride, alongside plenty of exciting new elements to discover. Are you brave enough to take a ride on Iron Gwazi?

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure - Disney’s Epcot

Opening in Summer 2020

Along with the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along show, a new ride is also set to open this year within the France pavilion of Epcot. Based on the hit 2007 Disney Pixar film, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will shrink you to the size of a rat and take you on a whirl-wind adventure through Gusteau’s kitchen. This family-friendly attraction will also feature a 3D element, so you’ll really feel a part of the action inside this bustling french restaurant.

Summer 2020 will also see the opening of a delightful new restaurant in the France Pavilion. La Crêperie de Paris will offer both table- and quick-service options featuring a menu from celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Epcot

Riptide Race - Aquatica

Opening in 2020

Grab a friend and race on Florida’s first duelling racer. Riptide Race will take you through high speed tunnels side-by-side, ensuring you will always have eyes on your competition. Riders will start their race atop a 68ft tower with a raft which holds a team of two. The descent includes tight loops and accelerations within indoor and outdoor sections, through nearly 650ft of splashing slide. Who will reach the finish line first?
