Competition! – and a Christmas Welcome at the Orlando Communities

We’ve been checking out the Christmas lights at the Orlando communities where we have villas to rent. There are some very cheery welcomes at the gates to get you in the spirit of the season when you arrive at your villa if you’re lucky enough to be visiting in the next few weeks.

We love it so much we’re running a competition for the best examples!

We want to see your favourite pictures of villas with great decorations and lighting here in Orlando. If you’re staying in Orlando please share a photo of the most Christmas-tastic and blingy house décor you’ve seen this festive season. In return we will give the best entry a Disney goody bag worth £50 full of seasonal delights.

In the meantime here are some of this year’s Orlando community decorations:

Bella Toscana is very ‘bella’ with a cheery Santa and reindeer.

Calabray Parc has lit up all their hedgerows in white, and has lots of green wreaths on buildings.

Emerald Island’s green fountains and lovely swags of baubles.

Encore Resort at Reunion has gone for lighting up the palm tree trunks: very elegant.

Grand Reserve has gone all out for colour on its trees and hedges this year.

We love the Christmassy lighting at Greater Groves - how stunning are these palm trees?

Highlands Reserve is hard to miss with red and white stripes.

Paradise Palms has understated twinkly white lights.
