Cypress Gardens at LEGOLAND Florida Resort is a beautifully preserved section of the park that honours the original Cypress Gardens, which first opened in 1936. While the wider resort is known for its family rides and LEGO-themed attractions, this area offers a calm and scenic contrast.
Visitors can stroll through lush botanical gardens filled with towering cypress trees, tropical plants, and colourful flowers. The highlight is the historic Banyan tree, grown from a seedling planted in the 1930s, whose sweeping roots and branches create a striking natural canopy.
The gardens retain much of their original charm, with quiet pathways and waterside views that reflect Florida’s natural beauty. It is an ideal spot for a gentle walk, photography, or simply taking a break from the busier parts of the park.
