Young visitors will enjoy the calm, gliding experience of Pteranodon Flyers at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando. This gentle attraction suspends riders beneath a pteranodon with an impressive wingspan, offering sweeping views over the Jurassic Park area. The ride is designed with children in mind, so adults must be accompanied by a child to board.
Although pteranodons were flying reptiles, they were not ancestors of modern birds; birds actually evolved from certain species of theropod dinosaurs. Even so, the ride provides a fun and imaginative way to experience prehistoric flight in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
