Eating out in Davenport
Many of our customers staying in a villa in the Davenport area tend to ask where the best places to eat are, so we thought we would provide you with ideas on some great places to grab food for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Davenport is just outside of the main tourist area and is a popular place for holidaymakers looking for something a bit more relaxing. The area is a lot more private, with less traffic too. However it is still conveniently situated to get to the theme parks and attractions. Highway 27, which is the main road going through Davenport, has plenty of restaurants and shops, including the Posner Park mall.

Cracker Barrel - Enjoy a traditional American breakfast, from sweet pancakes to savoury smoked bacon here. All breakfasts are freshly prepared and cooked to order. There are also a few healthier options on the menu, if that’s what you prefer. Cracker Barrel is a laid-back restaurant with a homely feel, so you should feel welcome here.

Nikko’s Egg City - Enjoy an egg-cellent breakfast in a retro American-style diner. Nikko’s Egg City serve breakfast and lunch, with over 79 items under $9.00! Make sure you get here early though as they close at 2pm every day.

The Proper Pie Company - For those that want a taste of home, grab a bite to eat at The Proper Pie Company. All dishes are freshly made by hand and include traditional British food such as pie, fish and chips and scones! “A great hidden gem! It’s a small and very casual restaurant, but it has a great atmosphere and fantastic food. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. The steak potato pie with Guinness was delicious.”

Cicis Pizza - This restaurant is an easy and affordable option for a family meal. Cicis offer an unlimited Italian buffet full of pizza, pasta, salad and desserts! The restaurant chain has been around since 1985 and now has over 450 restaurants in America. Their pizza dough is made fresh every single day and there’s even a garlic butter crust to try!

An afternoon treat in Davenport
Twistee Treat - Look out for a giant ice-cream cone at Posner Park - it’s home to a wide choice of delicious ice cream flavours, milkshakes and desserts! They sell some of the best homemade soft serve ice cream. Flavours range from classic to their premium ice creams flavours including peanut butter, coconut, cotton candy, cheesecake and many more! With so many options available, you won’t know what to choose, or maybe you’ll have to come here more than once during your Orlando holiday!
They have recently introduced the cookie sandwich and waffle taco to their menu too!

Dinner in Davenport
Ovation Bistro - Currently rated as the No.1 restaurant in Davenport (on TripAdvisor) and the best smokehouse in central Florida. We would certainly recommend giving this restaurant a try! They are a family-owned business who are passionate about the food they create. Have a taste of their mouthwatering ribs, in-house smoked meats, seafood, salads and more. They also have a gluten free menu.
At Ovation Bistro you can reserve a table on their website before you go, or even order some food online to enjoy and relax back at your villa.

Miller’s Alehouse - This family sports bar and restaurant provides quality food at good value. The menu features steaks, seafood, pastas, boneless wings, fresh salads and homemade desserts. It’s a fairly casual restaurant with basics from bar snacks to steaks, and more than 75 different beers to accompany your meal.
