Enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment at Mango’s Tropical Cafe

Mango's Tropical Cafe Orlando

Head to Orlando’s International Drive for a dinner show with a difference at Mango’s Tropical Cafe, as you take your seats for a toe-tapping tribute show and a delicious gourmet meal.

Get the flavour for some spicy Caribbean and Latin food, as well as eye-popping entertainment! Suitable for diners of all ages, why not enjoy a magical evening at one of Mango’s award-winning dinner shows and make some fantastic memories out with family and friends? Mango’s opened back in December 2015, and is the company’s second location after the popular Miami Beach venue. The focus is on fun and entertainment, and the colourful tropical décor and lighting will immediately put you in the party spirit!

If you love music and dancing, not to mention great food and drinks, then Mango’s is the ideal place to make a reservation! With dinner shows every night, you needn’t miss the opportunity to catch the vibrantly-costumed entertainers on stage. As the shows and line-up order is constantly changing to keep things fresh, you won’t see the same show twice! Enjoy tributes to iconic singers such as the legendary ‘Queen of Salsa’ Celia Cruz, Latin pop sensation Jennifer Lopez, Selena Quintanilla, Bruno Mars, Tina Turner and the music of Michael Jackson, not to mention the ‘Viva Mexico’ Mariachi band! If you love dance then keep your eyes on the stage as Mango’s dancers are at the heart of all of their shows. Watch on as the hip-hop, salsa and belly dancers show off their moves, and the Brazilian Samba show brings the Rio carnival directly to Orlando; you might even be inspired to get up off your seat and join the conga line!

Mango’s tip: As tables are limited, it is sensible to book ahead, which will require a $5 deposit per person, with the tables at the front of the stage – offering the best views – available on a first-come-first served basis.

Dining at Mango's Tropical Cafe

As you watch the show, dine on award-winning gourmet cuisine comprising Mexican, Italian, Caribbean and Latin flavours.† Take your pick from a great range of set menus, such as the cheapest option – the Samba Menu at $39 per head†† (with an additional $7 if you want a dessert), which offers a choice of soup or Caesar salad for a starter, followed by a selection of mains including veggie and gluten free choices. Why not try the Cuban-Style Ropa Vieja – shredded beef served with seasoned rice, black beans and plantains, or perhaps the gluten-free Roasted Margarita Chicken would appeal – half a chicken marinated in citrus and garlic, served with seasoned rice, black beans and plantains?

Don’t forget to check out the other set menus for a different range of meals! If you have children aged between 3 and 9 in your party, then select from the Kid’s Menu which is set at $29 per head. Although there are no starters, the main course options are child-friendly, comprising the Southern Fried Chicken Strips Platter – the chicken strips are served up with honey mustard sauce and fried potato wedges, New York Style Pizza, Cheese Ravioli and lots more! Dessert selections are a little more limited but still bound to appeal to kids – an Ice Cream Sundae - either made with chocolate or French vanilla ice cream, served up with chocolate sauce, or their Flan of the Day - made with rich custard prepared in-house.

Mango’s tip: As you explore Mango’s, check out the unique Haitian, Caribbean and Cuban artwork on display. Don’t forget to look at the glass mosaic bars and mural terrazzo flooring and staircases!

At 10pm, after the dinner show ends, prepare to party the night away as a live DJ and the Mango’s Dancers take to the dance floor and the venue transforms into one of the hottest nightclubs in Orlando with some of the best after-dinner cocktails! If you just want to go to the nightclub, not the dinner and show, there is a charge for entry, which varies dependent on the events in the club. The venue is open to 2am, but if you have any under 21s in your group they will unfortunately have to call it a night before the party gets into full swing. If you want to chill out with friends, there are various lounge and patio areas where you can pull up a seat for a chat. If you want to grab a bite to eat after the kitchen closes, then the Late Night Bites Menu is sure to satisfy your hunger! Keep up your energy for more dancing with a choice of brick oven pizzas, or share a platter with your group – the Gran Picada Spectacular Platter, for example feeds 4-6 people and includes ham croquetas, masitas de puerco (Cuban pork), mambo wings, chicken strips, shrimp gratin and celery sticks, served up with marinara, honey mustard and blue cheese sauces.

Mango’s tip: Mango’s is known for its loud music, so if you are hard of hearing or have young children who don’t like too much noise you might want to book an earlier table before the party gets in full swing later in the evening.

Mango's Tropical Cafe on International Drive

Tempt your taste buds with Mango’s cocktails, which include a selection of tropical mojitos, margaritas and frozen offerings, such as the Coconut Mudslide – which includes Bacardi, Frangelico, Island Oasis ice cream, Hershey’s chocolate syrup and Kahlua! Designated drivers can also enjoy a range of non-alcoholic drinks including a fruity Virgin Daiquiri cocktail. If cocktails aren’t to your taste, there is an extensive selection of soft drinks, as well as beers, wines and spirits – there really is something for everyone!

Mango’s promises to be a great night filled with song, dance, food and drink, so if you are looking for a fun evening out why not check out the show? We’d love to see your photos and hear your thoughts so get in touch!
