Relaxing poolside in the sun with a refreshing cold drink is what many of us dream about for our holidays. In Orlando, you can do just that at these communities with a tiki bar.

The tiki bar offers a place to go for a selection of cold drinks, snacks and light lunches, keeping your energy up whilst around the pool in the Florida heat. Many of them offer a bit of shade and seating, so you can take a break from the sunshine. These poolside bars are also a great place to gather and get to know other holidaymakers. Some even have entertainment or live music on select nights throughout the year.

Kissimmee Communities

Emerald Island

Located close to Disney World, Emerald Island is one of the most popular gated resorts in Kissimmee. It has some great resort facilities including a clubhouse, heated swimming pool, hot tub, gym, sports courts and walking trails.

Paradise Palms

With a name like Paradise Palms, this community just had to have a tiki bar as part of its facilities. On this community, guests have access to the clubhouse with its convenience store, indoor gym, sauna, games room, arcade and 50-seat cinema. Enjoy the Florida sunshine by the zero-entry community pool, with a waterfall, slide and two spas. Open all day, every day, the tiki bar sits right next to the pool and has a good-sized covered area with seating. You can’t miss it with its straw roof and surf board!

Terra Verde

This large, picturesque Orlando community in Kissimmee has excellent community facilities which include communal swimming pool with a Tiki bar, health spa, sports courts, games room and fully equipped gym.

On the Lagoon Tiki Bar menu, choose from pizza, fries, nachos, burgers, sandwiches and more. There’s also a selection of cocktails, smoothies and milkshakes to stay hydrated, as well as a daily happy hour. The bar is open until 9pm, so you can also head back later in the day for a relaxing evening by the pool. On select nights there is poolside entertainment, so be sure to take a look at the schedule when you arrive at Terra Verde.

Windsor at Westside

This community in Kissimmee has some fantastic on-site facilities with a large pool area for all guests to make use of. It has waterslides, a lazy river, children’s splash pool and a hot tub to unwind in. The tiki bar is a part of the clubhouse, offering a range of cold drinks and a menu to tempt your tastebuds. You’ll also find lots of seating inside next to the bar, so it’s an ideal lunch spot during your relaxing day around the pool.

Within the clubhouse you’ll also find a state of the art fitness centre, a games room with arcade games, a small shop for essentials and a TV lounge.

Windsor Palms

Staying in one of our Windsor Palms villas, you’ll have access to all of the facilities available on this community. The large clubhouse is within 10 minutes walk of all the properties and provides lots of things to do for guests, including an excellent gym, a video games room, pool and table tennis and a 58-seat cinema, showing popular and recent family friendly movies every day. The community pool area is located at the clubhouse and has an Olympic-size swimming pool, spa, splash pool for kids and plenty of sun loungers for all to relax. The themed tiki bar at the side of the pool is the ideal place to grab some cold drinks and snacks on your pool day in Orlando.

ChampionsGate

The ChampionsGate resort has a certain feel of luxury to it, with its large pool area and welcoming clubhouse with full-service restaurant. Within the clubhouse you’ll also come across a state-of-the-art gym, a movie theatre showing family favourites and a games room with arcade. The lagoon pool has a lazy river and water slides. Younger children can have fun in the splash pool and there are plenty of sun loungers scattered around for the rest of the family to relax in the sun. Before settling down, be sure to head to the tiki bar to grab a cold beverage. It provides soft drinks, beers, wine and cocktails, as well as snacks and ice creams. The tiki bar is sheltered with some seating, providing a great place to sit in the shade.

Regal Palms

This gated community in Orlando is a great choice for any family holiday providing a range of amenities to keep everyone entertained. Inside the clubhouse is a bar and restaurant, well-equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi and beauty salon. The kids will especially love the indoor soft play area with arcade games too.

Outside you’ll have the chance to relax and drift along the lazy river, splash down a water slide and take a dip in the beach-style zero entry pool, which is ideal for small children and toddlers to enjoy. You’ll find the tiki bar located between the volleyball court and community pool. It has the traditional tiki bar feel, serving tropical drinks and quick meals.

Located on the US27 is the gated Davenport community of Solana. The facilities here include a large clubhouse with TV lounge, small convenience store, gym, games arcade, computer room with free wi-fi and helpful friendly staff on hand to advise on all things Orlando. Outside is the heated community pool, hot tub, loungers and cabanas to give a little shade. A tiki bar sits alongside the pool serving drinks and snacks, and also provides entertainment on select dates.
