It’s Brick-mas at Legoland Florida!

What do you get if you cross the festive season with LEGOLAND Florida? Well, Brick-mas, of course! And that’s just what is on our Orlando horizon right now as we gallop headlong for what the Americans like to call “The Holidays.”

This period, which encompasses the big Thanksgiving Day holiday of November 27 and continues through January 1, is basically Christmas on steroids, a huge celebration (and marketing opportunity!) that sees our theme parks and other attractions all put on their seasonal best to add a wonderfully festive and distinctive aspect to their general appeal.

And it is all starting to get under way as the theme parks lead the way into a winter wonderland (including snow in places), with Santa on tap and several million twinkling lights ushering in the Yuletide vibe. We’ve already highlighted the Universal Orlando Christmas cheer, previewing their Holiday offerings, as well as those of SeaWorld Orlando and their Aquatica water park.

Now it’s the turn of the fabulous LEGOLAND Florida in Winter Haven (barely 30 minutes from many of our villas) to step forward with the full lowdown on their latest Brick-tacular event, which kicks off on December 6 and runs on select dates through December 31.

Holidays at LEGOLAND

Yes, it’s time to get those sleigh bells ringing for the jolliest time of the year in the brick-built world of the LEGO family, with 12 days of festive fun during the Holidays at LEGOLAND Florida Resort Presented by the Hallmark Channel (to give the event its full title), on each of December 6, 13, 20 and 24-31. Families are invited to celebrate the season with twinkling lights, festive décor, interactive entertainment and even a gigantic LEGO Christmas tree, all included with general park admission and annual passes.

Recently ranked among the Top 10 Best Theme Park Holiday Events by USA TODAY 10Best, LEGOLAND is the ultimate family-friendly tradition in Central Florida. And it all starts with the signature LEGO Christmas Tree and Festive Photo Spots at the beginning of the park. Here, guests will discover a dazzling three-storey Tree, built from more than 360,000 bricks. This towering festive icon will be surrounded by a life-size LEGO sleigh with reindeer, a massive wreath and other jolly ornamental touches, offering plenty of photo opportunities both here and throughout the park. Even MINILAND USA gets a seasonal makeover, ensuring every corner of the park is merry and bright.

Other highlights include the chance to meet LEGO Santa & Friends, where the holiday spirit comes alive with interactive meet-and-greets featuring an appropriately brick-styled Chief Elf and his festive Minifigure crew. Families can also pose with yuletide favourites and enjoy memorable moments with the LEGO Holiday Friends throughout the park. Elf-tastic Entertainment & Décor Entertainment takes centre stage with reindeer-approved shows, activities and live performances. Guests will also be surrounded by immersive holiday-themed décor, transforming the park into a whimsical winter wonderland.

Test your building skills and Party!

In addition to the character meets and extensive decorative elements, LEGOLAND will feature a series of hands-on activities and parties that are sure to ring jingle bells all the way to Christmas itself. Look out for:

● Sleigh Build Competition: Unwrap your LEGO building skills and put your imagination to the test as you create new sleigh designs, race them down snowy slopes and enter for the chance to win a grand prize!

● Festival of Flurries: Jump into a high energy, fun-filled celebration of…SNOW! Sing and dance along to the most popular winter tunes with everyone’s favourite snowy friend – the LEGO Snowman.

● North Pole Postal Service: Write a special letter to Santa with the help of his best elves, and watch your letter fly all the way to the North Pole! Only available on Holiday event days from December 6 to 25.

● Santa’s Toy Build: Santa needs your help to fill his bag with toys and gifts. Using LEGO bricks and your imagination, build anything you would like to see delivered by the main man in red.

● Holly Hype Dance Party: LEGO Reindeer Girl has rounded up her favourite holiday hits and is ready to “dance her hooves off” with YOU! Jump, prance and boogie down at this interactive seasonally-themed dance party.

● Holiday Traditions Scavenger Hunt: Our youngest visitors can take to the streets of DUPLO Valley, which will be covered in a series of the park’s best holiday traditions. Take on the challenge of spotting all the special icons for a festive prize (while supplies last).

Great tastes, stocking stuffers and Kids’ New Year’s Eve!

No Christmas party is complete without the tastes of the season, and LEGOLAND Florida will ensure a steady supply of Tasty Tinsel Treats Festivities throughout the park. During the event dates, there will be lashings of limited-time holiday favourites and treats designed to delight the whole family. From sugary bites to savoury satisfactions, guests can indulge in the best traditions of this sweet-toothed holiday event.

And don’t miss out on the newly-reopened – and super-stylish – LEGO Shop. Here, you’ll discover a glittering array of Holiday Exclusives & Festive Displays, and guests will be able to wrap up their day of holiday fun by perusing a dazzling line-up of exclusive merchandise, featuring a dedicated section of limited-edition items and a themed holiday display built from seasonal LEGO sets. Whether searching for the perfect gift, collectible ornament or last-minute stocking stuffer, this genuine Christmas cracker offers something for every builder on the Nice List.

Finally, the holiday fun culminates on December 31 with Florida’s only Kids’ New Year’s Eve Celebration, featuring extended park hours, festive activities and a dazzling fireworks show to welcome 2026. Guests can enjoy the show through special 3D glasses that transform the fireworks into exploding LEGO bricks, creating a one-of-a-kind display. The night ends with the signature “Brick Drop” over Lake Eloise and a spectacular grand finale.
