Stingray Lagoon
Stingrays may sound intimidating, but they are among the ocean’s most gentle creatures. At Stingray Lagoon, more than 200 rays glide gracefully through calm, shallow waters, some with wingspans of up to five feet. This interactive habitat offers a wonderful opportunity to observe them up close in a peaceful setting. Reach your hand just below the surface, and you’re likely to feel a velvety “high five” as they swim by.
- This lagoon is huge. There is plenty of space to find a spot on your own and pet the stingrays as long as you want. They swim around in circles and some come close enough that you can touch them pretty often. It's fun!
- The staff are very helpful in guiding you if you are new to the experience.
- This is a must-do when at SeaWorld. It’s one of the more relaxing animal exhibits.
