Tucked away in the shadowy depths of Knockturn Alley, Borgin and Burkes in Diagon Alley is a mysterious shop renowned for its collection of dark and unusual objects. Its dusty shelves are filled with curious artefacts, from cursed items to peculiar magical antiques, each with its own unsettling story. The dim lighting and eerie atmosphere make it feel as though you have stepped into a more sinister side of the wizarding world. Visitors can browse cabinets of oddities and glimpse items linked to dark magic, offering a fascinating contrast to the brighter shops nearby.
- It's my favourite Harry Potter shop in all the land, full of Death Eater items, Dark Arts objects, Dementor things, Azkaban merchandise, costumes, clothes, jewellery and collectibles.
- It was creepy and eerie just as I imagine it should be.
- Definitely check this store out because there are items here that I didn't see in the other shops. And of course...the Vanishing Cabinet!
Tips & Facts
- Merchandise largely surrounds Death Eaters, from T-shirts to full outfits including masks. Voldemort Horcrux necklaces are also for sale here along with an assortment of creepy collectibles.
- As guests shop, they will hear the canary in the vanishing cabinet and a Boggart trying to escape its locked chest, adding to the unique and eerie shopping excursion.
