Chat with a Gringotts goblin banker and ask your questions before exchanging your Muggle money. Instead of traditional bank notes, you’ll receive a prepaid card (Gringotts Money Exchange card) that can be used for purchases across Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and throughout both Universal Orlando theme parks. It’s a fun, interactive experience as well as a convenient way to pay during your visit.
- Cash can be exchanged for Gringotts notes that you can use either in the park or keep as a souvenir!
- It was so exciting to be able to buy Butterbeer with Gringotts money.
- My favourite shop was the money exchange. A goblin runs it and no joke, you can ask him anything! No pressure to buy, but his grumpy demeanour is hilarious.
Tips & Facts
- There are a few Gringotts souvenirs you can’t find anywhere else in the area, but the highlight is the goblin. Talk to him and ask him questions. He also responds to those who pull out a camera to snap a photo of him.
- Muggle money can be exchanged for Gringotts bank notes and then used ANYWHERE in Universal Studios. It can also be switched back to Muggle money at the end of the day.
- These bills are available in $10 or $20 denominations and there is no extra fee to exchange your Muggle money for some magical notes.
