4. Complete privacy

Your Orlando holiday can be very busy at times, which is why it is important to make some time to relax. Staying in a villa gives you more options as to how you spend your downtime. A lot of our villas have a games room, where you can enjoy competing against friends and family. Some villas also have multiple lounges, so adults won't be necessarily stuck watching the kids TV channels until they drop-off! All of this can be done in your own private space, in your own time. If you wanted to mingle with other holidaymakers, to get that hotel-like vibe, some communities have a fantastic selection of facilities where you could meet people from all across the world.

A villa offers the ideal place to unwind, after a busy day. Relax in the lounge in front of the TV, or out on the pool deck watching the sunset. With more rooms and more space, there’s plenty of chance of relaxation and privacy whilst away.

5. Self catering

Staying in self-catering accommodation means you can budget better for your food. Having your own kitchen means you don’t need to stick to just what the on-site restaurant offers, you have the freedom to mix it up a bit, and generally making a meal at the villa is cheaper than dining out all the time. Some villa owners leave a supply of takeaway leaflets for you to order-in food for the night, should you wish to. Some communities are situated near popular restaurants, so if you are feeling flush, you could dine out when you want to, as opposed to possibly having to stick to strict serving times that hotels impose.

Renting a villa during your Orlando stay generally works out a lot cheaper than a hotel, especially if you’re sharing with family or friends, as you can split the cost. We have a variety of villas from basic to luxurious, so there is sure to be something that will fit your budget.

7. More family time

Going on holiday is all about making memories with the family, which is why we think it’s important to incorporate family time into the villas. In each there is plenty of space for family bonding, either relaxing together in the lounge or competing against each other in the games room. Most of our villas include a games room, offering you plenty of options to add family fun into the holiday, that’s if you have enough energy left to burn after a busy day in Orlando!

This delightful four bedroom villa, on the quiet resort of High Grove, has a well-equipped and brightly coloured games room.  For those hitting the big tourist hotspots, the Disney parks are only 20 minutes away by car, with Universal Studios and SeaWorld being slightly further, requiring a 30-minute journey. After a long day you can return to your villa and relax on the pool deck, away from the busy parks. For those who like a little friendly competition, the games room contains a pool table, air hockey and table football, as well as seating for those waiting their turn, to enjoy some light-hearted banter!

8. Community facilities

Some of our villas are on resort communities that have all the facilities you might find in a hotel. Communities such as Emerald Island and Windsor at Westside have everything you need for your stay. They both have a gym to keep up your fitness whilst away, a play area for the kids to burn off some energy, a community pool for you to mingle with other guests and a clubhouse if you need some help and information for your trip.

9. Themed bedrooms

The children can still be a part of the magic, when you choose a villa with themed bedrooms. From Star Wars to princess-themed, we have many to choose from!

With the Disney parks practically on your doorstep and plenty to do in the villa and on the resort, you won’t ever want your holiday to end! 10. Bring everybody

We do offer some nine and ten bedroom villas on our website too if you’re looking at bringing the whole family and wanting to stay together. They are very spacious properties, so it’ll be like you’ve got a miniature hotel to yourselves!

If you’d rather have a bit more privacy from family members, but still want to be close to each other, we can try and find adjoining villas. We have lots of villas on some of our communities, such as Highlands Reserve and West Haven, where you’re more likely to find villas close to each other. We display each and every one of our villas on our website, so you can choose exactly where you want to stay. Each of the properties has been visited, inspected and passed by us at Debbie’s Villas; if we wouldn’t stay there, why should you? Because we visit every single villa, and re-inspect them regularly, you can trust us knowing that the villa is exactly as described.

12. Explore like a local

Staying in the Kissimmee or Davenport areas means you can live more like a local and properly experience Orlando. You’re not stuck inside the ‘hotel bubble’ and have the freedom to explore more of the area. Most of our villas are between a 20-30 minute drive to the top theme parks (some closer), so you’re still close to all the action too!
