Orlando is swamped with water-based activities for those adventure seekers out there. Whether you want to try your hand at wakeboarding, waterskiing, kayaking or paddleboarding; there is something for all water babies to try!

Here at Debbie’s Villas, we have selected some of the best watersport companies in Orlando, for you to enjoy on your next trip!

Orlando Watersports Complex

Opening just over a decade ago; the Orlando Watersports Complex offers an array of water sports, including:

  • Wakeboarding
  • Wakeskating
  • Wakesurfing
  • Waterskiing
  • Tubing
  • Kneeboarding

The area is popular with locals and offers opportunities for people of any ability to enjoy, as they cater to all skill levels.

Whilst booking through their website, you can fill out your waiver form through their website, as well as watch a health and safety video online, so you can begin your sessions straight away on arrival.

Cable Watersports

The Orlando Watersports Complex boasts two cableways, making it the only place in the USA to have more than one!

With one cableway aimed at advanced boarders and the other at a standard level, the park allows plenty of time and room for riding, meaning you will no doubt make a vast improvement throughout the day.

Introducing the ‘Get Up Guarantee’ the approachable staff here control the level of your speed on the cable and can slowly increase the speed to ensure you stand up by the end of your session.

Wakeboarding in Orlando

The site also has child safety lessons for kids aged ten or younger. The sessions are to make sure they know their safety in the water.

Boat Powered Watersports

A similar concept to the cable watersports available, the Orlando Watersports Complex also offer sessions at their Boat Lake. Instead of being pulled by a cable, the rider is towed by a small boat.

Aquapark

The site is home to a fantastic inflatable waterpark too, which stretches over 10,000sqft.

A real test of balance, this obstacle course has 40 different activities to try. Trial your strength on the climbing wall, practise your poise on the balance pads and then make sure you let loose on the slide! The soft surface of the aquapark makes it ideal for kids to jump around and have fun while testing their agility!

Lifejackets are provided, and the session prices start from $20 for 50 minutes.
